Mook (aka Mark) Simpson is an artist based in Sydney, Australia. Mook brings a unique perspective to his painting practice. After spending 20 years as a creative director in animation in Sydney and another 5 in Los Angeles working in virtual reality, Simpson returned to Sydney in 2020 to focus on painting.
Simpson draws inspiration from his two previous careers, and his paintings reflect his love of adventure, playfulness and humour.
