Painted on an altered reproduction of  “Spirit of the drought” Arthur Streeton, 1895 (34 x 37cm)

The original landscape some sort of imaginary female nymph dancing atop the skeleton and death of a sustained drought. My version considers a more contemporary community led cleanup drive and the features an highly unimpressed fellow, raking up bones.
